Jenny Phillips 2024-2025
Parkway Teacher of the Year

Mrs. Phillips is beginning her 7th year at Parkway. She teaches a variety of middle school exploratory classes and works with all of our K-5 grade students. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and East Carolina University. She has certifications in K-12 Exceptional Children, K-12 English as a Second Language, and a Masters in Instructional Technology. 

Mrs. Phillips is Parkway Proud to be selected by her peers as this year's Teacher of the Year. Watauga County is truly the best place to work and live. She feels one of the best things about working at Parkway is that it's like one big family. 

When not working, you will find Mrs. Phillips gardening, hiking, kayaking, or spending time with her family and dogs. She is married with three children ages 24, 22, and 19. One graduated from Appalachian State, one is graduating from ETSU in December, and one is a sophomore at UNCW. 

She is excited to represent as the Teacher of the Year for the 2024-2025 year.
