Parkway Teacher of the Year

Ms. Laws is beginning her 6th year of teaching at Parkway. She has taught 1st grade for the last 5 years and is excited to teach Kindergarten this year. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University. Her undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and her master's degree is in Reading Education.

Ms. Laws is Parkway Proud to be selected by her peers as this year's Teacher of the Year. She loves being a member of the Parkway  family and celebrating her students' success in and out of the classroom. 

When not working, you will find Ms. Laws kayaking, hiking, running, rafting, skiing, or spending time with her family. 

She is excited to represent Parkway as the Teacher of the Year for the 2025-2026 year.
